Danielle Mah Massage Therapy Squamish

Danielle Mah, RMT

Danielle has extensive experience working with athletic populations both in clinic and on field. She has a return-to-sport approach and believes in a collaborative effort whenever possible. Since having children, Danielle has discovered a new passion and area of interest in pre and post natal care.  She has since taken numerous courses to expand her knowledge and skill set in the area and become an ambassador for the GrowCo program and methodology.  She wants to be a resource for post-natal women and provide support in restoring their bodies to be the healthy and high functioning systems they are. She loves working with women who have had C-sections.

Jennifer Jellis, R.Ac

Jennifer has worked in the holistic healthcare field for over 20 years. She originally trained as a massage therapist and she spent over a decade treating heli-ski related injuries while chasing snow around the globe. She become a registered acupuncturist in 2005 from Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton and received a government grant to intern at The Heze Medical College in Shandong, China. Her focus shifted towards supporting the whole person by using modalities such as: acupuncture, guasha, tuina, moxibustion,
electro-acupuncture and cupping to facilitate a shift towards healing the whole person. Jennifer received additional training in the treatment of: digestive issues, stress/anxiety, autoimmune disease, hormone rebalancing, auricular therapy, and supporting pregnant and postnatal women. While she treats a multitude of ailments in her practice, her passion lies in women’s health and support for new moms. She became a postpartum doula thru DONA in 2018.

Heather Obre

Heather fell in love with Pilates in her 20s after many years of competitive dance (and several injuries), and started practicing mat classes while completing her yoga teacher training. It wasn’t long before she started incorporating many of the Pilates methods into all her classes because she truly believes there is no better way to strengthen and rehabilitate the human body.

When she is not at Seed, you can find her teaching yoga at a few other places in town, or busy being a mama to her 2 small kids.

Aside from teaching Reformer and Tower classes, Heather’s private and semi private schedule is bookable below.

Rachel Rhyason

Rachel is a dedicated RMT with a passion for holistic well-being. Having graduated in 2021, her journey in massage therapy has been shaped by a commitment to providing personalized care and fostering complete body wellness. Her therapeutic toolkit includes specialized skills in deep tissue sport massage, intraoral and facial massage, myofasical release technique, Neuro Relaxation Technique (NRT), Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), basic manual lympathic draingage (MLD) and a range of other general wellbeing relaxation techniques. Each technique is carefully selected to address your unique needs, ensuring a tailored approach to your healing journey. Having spent her early childhood years on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, she later embraced the vibrant energy of Calgary, Alberta before ulimately finding her way back to the picturesque landscapes and lifestyle of Sqaumish. Outside the treatment room, you’ll find Rachel immersed in the great outdoors - scaling rocks, traversing hiking trails, cycling both on roads and mountains, and practicing yoga and really any activity that allows her loyal dog Cedar to tag along. In her practice, Rachel prioritizes a holistic and intuitive approach, recognizing that true wellness extends beyond the specfic complaint. She strives to create a therapeutic experience that not only addresses immediate concerns but also promotes overall balance and vitality. REIKI - ENERGY HEALER

Christina Ganong

She provides Reiki with Gemstone Energy paired with an Intuitive Reading of your auric and energetic health. This incredibly healing practice serves to tap into and cleanses your emotional, energetic and auric fields.  Each session is 90 minutes and includes a brief discussion before and after about what you are feeling in your energetic body. It includes what you are looking to heal or change in your life, a follow up email with her personal reading of your energy, what stones she used in your session and any other useful information to take home with you to help you integrate the Reiki into your daily routine. 

Reiki is a wonderful modality to add to your personal healing regime. Reiki taps into your energy field and helps to locate and dislodge stuck emotions and stagnant energy in the subconscious. 

In addition to Reiki, she uses her intuitive gifts to get a reading on what your body is trying to communicate through the Reiki. She takes this reading and explains it to you to the best of her ability to help you gain perspective on what your emotional, energetic and physical body are in need of. No matter where you are in your journey, whether you are just starting out or have had many Reiki sessions before, she is here to guide you and hold space for you.

PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Monika Fronc

Monika has been teaching Pilates since 2007. After graduating from the Academy of Physical Education in Cracow, Poland with a Master’s Degree, she moved to Dublin, Ireland where she completed the Pilates teacher training with Balanced Body University. Since then, she has regularly continued her education to broaden her knowledge and experience in fitness and rehabilitation.

In 2015, she started her Classical Pilates training with The Pilates Centre in Boulder, Colorado. She is known for her contagious passion for Pilates and functional movement.

She recently moved to Squamish to enjoy outdoor adventurers with her dog Misiu. When she’s not working, she enjoys mountain biking, dirt biking and a good mystery book.

Nina Fields

Nina has always loved the connection between mind and body. Being a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, she has noticed how our bodies hold a story and through movement, we can unleash these held patterns. When she discovered Pilates she could see the benefit of both these modalities in healing. She received her Pilates mat and equipment training through Physical Mind Institute in 2002. Both movement and integration in a mindful way can heal us from the inside out, while helping us feel better and more grounded to handle all life’s ups and downs. Visit her website to learn more. Deniece Ang

Deniece first fell in love with Pilates in her 20’s, while she was at University studying Aviation. The mind-body connection that Pilates brings, allowed her to re-centre after stressful days of flying. After practising Pilates for 10 years, Deniece decided to obtain her certification for Mat & Reformer Pilates Instructing, through Breathe Education. 

She believes that Pilates is for everyone, regardless of age, gender etc, and cannot wait to empower others through movement.

Originally from Perth, Australia, Deniece now calls Whistler home.

Kelly Irwin

In the pursuit of all things wellness, Kelly is a certified health coach, registered holistic nutritionist, personal trainer and now pilates instructor. As a passionate endurance junkie, she found pilates after suffering from a back injury, which forced her to slow it down and build herself back up. Her pilates practice has been a saving grace, helping her return to sport & build a better foundation to support her passions. As a teacher she considers herself your personal hype girl. Her hope is that each person that comes to class is ready to push themselves and most importantly have fun.
